This sweet girl turned 2 weeks on August 31st. Love those 'involuntarily' smiles. We'll take what we can get! :)
First day at home with just mom- Dad went back to work on Tuesday after Labor Day. Loved having him home for 2 weeks- he was beyond helpful and we miss having him here but are doing well. She continues to be such a sweet and easy baby (find some wood and knock on it, please...!)
Our week so far has been filled with visitors and yummy dinners from friends. So fortunate to have the friends (and family!) that we do.
Hangin' with Hugh Bennett. :) 16 days apart. They have their first playdate this week!
First K-State gameday was Saturday, August 30th. :) Lookin' good in her purple...
Bonding time with Granddad- first of many games to come, I'm sure. If she's like her mom she'll find something else to occupy her time during these SUPER exciting games... (**sarcasm...**) hehe :)
Meeting sweet Ella Schulte- she's had some good practice with babies already with her adorable little brother, Anderson- another possible suitor for Peyton... he's a few months older but that's ok. :)
Her cord fell off this weekend so we got to start tummy time! Sometimes it looks like this (above) and we like to just lounge...
She's done well with it and will get fussy towards the end (lasts 5-10 minutes or so)- and is doing great with her head control- moves her head from the left to the right side.
Click play to watch a little clip of her first tummy time. :)
Scout's view... overseeing tummy time
Two weeks old! Pretty, pretty dress from Kati Oddo (good friend of mine and Spanish teacher at school)
Looks like she's planning something... or is up to something. :)
Playtime :)
