I had the most wonderful first Mother's Day! (well, first OFFICIAL Mother's Day) :)
My brother came in from Iowa to celebrate and Peyton enjoyed time with her uncle
My grandparents were in from Topeka, too!
We did gifts for both Mother's Day and my brother's belated birthday- the big 2-5.
Chris got me a beautiful calla lily plant (definitely butchered that spelling I'm pretty sure..), dark chocolate, and a MASSAGE that I am yet to use- need to get that scheduled! Amazing hour of my life ahead! My mom even spoiled me this year by getting me darling notecards and a yummy chocolate bundt cake. I even got a card from Peyton. :)
It was funny how much I looked forward to celebrating this day as the week went on- finally felt like I could claim it as "my" day. May even be a trump to my birthday (if that's even possible) because having a day to celebrate having Peyton... what could be better than that?
