Peyton Rolls Over!! :) And ENJOYS tummy time!

Peyton went from hating her life during tummy time to happy as can be AND rolling over today! She had a playdate with her friend, Ben (5 days younger than her) and I was commenting to his mom, Mallory, about how I wish P would be happier on her tummy.  To prove my point, I showed her- to be completely proven wrong with a happy as can be baby that rolled herself from her tummy to her back.  I told Mallory it must have been a fluke- but then happened again... and again... and again!  Such an exciting day.

Rolling over- not the best example of this.  This is more like a tipping. lol

Never thought I would see this day.... from face down crying to this... unreal.

And another video.  Love her chatting in this one.

Peyton 10 Weeks in Pictures

So in addition to being a mom, one of my many hats I wear is professional (I wish) photographer.  I feel like I have the camera or my phone camera in my hand constantly.  This poor child probably thinks it's part of my body. lol Enjoy some pics from the past week or so- LOTS of smiling going on and a wonderful and fun visit with Aunt Stephanie (Chris's cousin from FL) and her husband, Tyler.

First trip to Louisberg Cider Mill- it was bright!

First of many trips- it was hot! Close to 80 degrees. Not the fall weather we had hoped for!

Pey with her Aunt and Uncle

Took them to Shawnee Mission Dog park- Scout was in heaven- poor neglected thing. And no, I'm not expecting again- that's Miss P buried in that grey carrier.

Walking the trails

Gorgeous fall leaves- why does this season have to end?

Pretty, pretty eyes.

We have been SO fortunate and blessed to have had meals up until 9ish weeks of Peyton's life.  With company coming, I had to get back to cooking- about killed me. hehe not really- enjoyed it but has been nice having a break! This is Peyton watching her mama cook away.

Smiles galore :) LOVE them...

Peyton met another new playmate and friend- and a GIRL, finally! :) Her name is Bennett! Is she a doll or what?

Bahhh! I melt...

Peyton visits the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead (took Stephanie and Tyler there- Stephanie is a vet student and fellow animal lover- so this trip was really more for her and I. :)

This is a typical face.

Sweet, happy, and naked baby

Yummy blue drink for the Royal's 6th of 7 games of the World Series tonight at dinner- aren't you proud I know that, Dad? ;)
