A quick 36 week update!
Have had a busy and fun past week.
- Lots of coffee dates/lunches out catching up with friends- trying to cherish this time but still not appreciating it like I should!
- Tutoring
- Birthday dinner out for a good friend from school (teacher friends)- the AC def wasn't working properly in this place and oh my that was interesting- whew!
- Trip to Topeka with my mom to stay with my grandparents for a couple nights- very relaxing, nice time catching up with 2 of my favorite people- and amazing food, as always! We stayed in T-Town Wednesday and Thursday night, then headed to Manhattan for lunch with my Great Aunt Rosalie on Friday, then to Junction City to see my best bud, Lindsay, and her sweet new little man, Max :)
- Had a diaper shower (attended it) for my good friend, Maureen (teacher from school, due with her 3rd a few weeks after me)- very fun.
- Fatigue has returned- not terrible, but am having 'good' and 'bad' days. I get really frustrated with my lack of energy and there's more of it coming...! :( Also just feeling heavy, large, you name it. Other than this, no real symptoms. Just wiped out by walking from point A to point B.
- 37 week appointment is on Thursday- also get to see baby C one more time before her big debut! :)
New decor up in baby room- thanks, Megan! :)
Trying out the Moby wrap! This thing is quite complicated right now but hoping with some practice, I'll get the hang of it!
A little view of the baby looking down (tummy)- haha just noticed that! Got Baby C's baby book and a sound machine (portable white noise machine- yes please). Started working on her book this week, too.
Worked on my cloth wipes for once we switch to cloth diapers. Don't worry- haven't lost my mind completely. We will try these (money saver!) and will also have disposables on hand, as well as for on the go. Pretty cute though, huh? They're made out of flannel and you make your own spray to go with them. Economical is the name of the game here, my friends.
Chris and I had our infant care class this past Saturday morning! It was a good class up at Cerner run by a local nurse (like our childbirth class) and was a good refresher. Nothing ground breaking, which was a good feeling. Did learn about baby baths and that was helpful. Now just to apply what we've learned! Oh my.
This whiny dog- he either knows something is up or is just being needy, as usual. We took him to Shawnee Mission Dog Park yesterday afternoon- was the perfect weather for it. He got to run free like the wild animal he is and got to swim, as well- thus his after park bath picture above. :)
This week is busy, busy, as well! Will be updating soon with another pic. :) Can't believe how close this is all getting. Thanks for checking in and stay tuned!
