illnesses be gone!

taking a mid-thesis paper writing break. whew!

this is the awesome book i'm doing my positive pschology thesis on! veryyy interesting-
 definitely recommend it.

so some of you faithful blog readers may be thinking.... "where has megan been?" well, my friends... let me tell you. the day chris and i returned from weston (my last post for a reason...) he came down with a HORRIBLE stomach bug that night. i will spare you the details. i spent all week anxious and fretting that i was going to get it, to the point that i didn't even want to write about it for fear of JINXING myself!

..... equals LIFE.

well, apparently that made no different because after open house on thursday night, i came down with a slight variation of what chris had. not NEARLY as bad, but missed school friday and was an all weekend event. blah.

so needless to say, it's been a rough go between chris and i since the last time i posted.

BUT... life is moving on and great things are ahead! finishing up my 9,0000 hours of masters work for my 2 classes that wrap up over the next week. i will start session or "spring 2" right after we get home from florida.

oh yes.. FLORIDA! :) we leave for anna maria island on friday afternoon and will be there until the following wednesday. all i can say is bringggg ittt onnn. can not wait. we'll be down there with chris's parents like we've done the past few years and it is soo nice. we thoroughly enjoy the time with them.

other news: will illness slow our petsitting down? NEVER! we had 2 new clients this past weekend, ava and lieba- a poodle and a schnoodle (from the same family) they were great but definitely a different breed... or breeds i should say. they kept me great company when i was home sick. cheyenne has been here, too but you all know her. she's our beloved regular. :)

enjoy some pics below!

happy cheyenne :)                                                         ava (left) and lieba (right)- hilarious
tonks (left) and scout (right) at the dog park on a date :) (tonks is lindsey and eric's dog)

quick clip from open house this past thursday night

anndddd one for old time's sake- this is where we'll be in 4 days! back where we got engaged almost exactly 2 years ago- does time fly or what? how freaked out do we look?

have a great monday! we've got the plumber coming tonight to hopefully fix our flooding basement. :)
