dogs are the best. period.

After reading a post on a friend's blog about a family dog that was just put down, she inspired me to share this amazing quote that she shared, too.  It's from the very end of John Grogan's Marley and Me- I hope all dog lovers out there have seen this btw.

WARNING: I can hardly read it myself because it gives me chills and sends me close to the edge of a meltdown.

"A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary? "

I love my Scout. :)

  3. I'm glad you posted that today. Mollie has been in the dog house (no pun intended) for awhile now and it's nice to remember what a blessing she can be in our lives. Thanks. :)
